Many companies claim their milk comes from grass-fed cows. There is no global standard that defines, nor quantifies the term grass-fed. It is the role of a responsible manufacturer to be clear and transparent in the claims made by them.
When you see the Genuinely Grass-Fed Guarantee on a product, you know that we have the data to back up the guarantee. Each year we collect the dairy feed records from all of our milk suppliers. Based on this data we calculate how much grass-based feed makes up the total diet of the cows on each of our milk supplier’s farms. These figures help us determine the percentage of our milk supply that comes from grass-fed cows.
